Today I want to show you the very first sidekick. This one is in our personal front

yard and the space between the house and the ADU (Accessory Dwelling

Unit) becomes a nice little courtyard that we use for a variety of things.

Thirty years ago we thought we might use it as a garage and provided the

flexibility to do that but it remains an extension of our living space. That

extra space is less important now that our children are out leading their lives

and I consider renting it from time to time.
